By using aptmate.com you agree to these terms with Evu, LLC.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information about yourself.

What Aptmate does

Aptmate suggests people who may be compatible roommates based on your answers. We do not verify identities, run background checks, inspect housing, or take part in any lease or rental agreement. Compatibility scores are estimates, not guarantees.

Your conduct

• Do not post false information, impersonate anyone, or create profiles for others.
• Do not use contact details from a mutual intro for spam, marketing, harassment, or anything other than discussing living together.
• Do not scrape, copy or resell the service or its data.
• Follow fair housing laws. Do not discriminate on the basis of protected characteristics.

Safety

Meet in public first, verify identities yourself, and never send deposits or rent before you have seen the home and signed an agreement.

No warranty and limits

Aptmate is provided as is. To the extent allowed by law, Evu, LLC is not liable for the conduct of members or for any housing arrangement made through the service, and our total liability is limited to $100.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms or remove profiles that break them. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
